Publicist/ Writer/ Fashion Designer / Events Manager
Alisha is a PR & Communications Professional for sustainable fashion, culture and lifestyle clients. She previously worked as a Writer, Editor, Publicist and Events Manager in Music and Entertainment for two decades. Since 2009, she’s been the one-woman PR Machine for the annual Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, which won “Best Music Festival in Las Vegas” 2019, and is the Longest Running Music Festival in Vegas, as well as the Largest Rockabilly Event in the World. Click here to see her on the News. Alisha recently completed Spiral5’s award-winning PR business incubator to expand her skills as a publicist across various lifestyle sectors.
In addition to PR, she's worked as a Columnist and Editor-in-Chief in Digital Publishing, managing and editing a remote team of 30 other International Female writers in Music, Fashion, Arts & Entertainment. She also worked as a Promoter and Manager of Live Music Events from 2003-2019, as well as producing live fashion runway shows with RAW Artists organization between 2016 and 2019.
Alisha's passions are Writing and Storytelling, Music, Fashion, Beauty, and helping artists and brands. She's a highly motivated, nonstop side-hustler and lifelong learner. She consults, builds websites, writes copy, sets up e-commerce sites, social media profiles and advises on branding and social media strategies for artists. She founded her own upcycled custom clothing line, Punk Majesty in 2014, and launched an eco-conscious spin-off line, Punk Majesty Streetwear in September 2021. Because of her passion for sustainable fashion, she recently became a Remake Ambassador. Since 2006, she also runs a side business, Ultra Glam Hair, as a Hair Extension Artist, which is top rated on Yelp.
Punk Majesty has been worn by Rock n Roll Hall of Famer, Jane Wiedlin of The Go Go’s, Captain Sensible of The Damned, Neil X of Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Marc Almond's band, and Jake Hout of The Dead Boys. It's been carried in boutiques in San Francisco, New York City and London, and is available online and ships worldwide. PM was the "top selling independent designer" at I NEED MORE-- NYC's premier Rock n Roll Clothing boutique, according to Owner Jimmy Webb. She has a BA in Speech Communications from San Francisco State University and an AA in Visual Communications from The Art Institute of Dallas, as well as many certifications in Social Media and Digital Marketing.
