Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend Festival
Annual 4- day Music Festival held in Las Vegas
VLV is a music festival that launched in 1998. I became their PR Manager & Publicist in 2009, which was the first year VLV received TV News and national print coverage, and things have exploded in the best way possible since!
Through PR, VLV has gained vast and consistent media coverage, gaining exposure, global brand awareness, and also growing organically through UGC & social media. The event sold out in advance 11 years in a row (pre-covid), and the numbers are back on track for 2023! For a list of what I do for VLV, click here.
VLV has been in thousands of articles in regional, national, and international magazines, newspapers, websites, blogs, and TV features including Huff Post, Yahoo News, The Hype, Music Connection, The Associated Press (being picked up in over 350 markets), The Daily Mail, Billboard, International Business Times, Goldmine Magazine, Time Out, Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Weekly, Las Vegas Sun, Tattoo Life, Ponyboy Magazine, Vintage Rock Magazine, The LA Weekly, OC Weekly, Getty Images, and more. From a sampling of (online, & print) press hits with metric, a 92-piece sample, resulted in a reach of 4.16M est. views, to an audience of 719M, with 30.4K engagements. A playlist sampling of TV Network News coverage can be seen here.
Some past performers include Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Wanda Jackson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dick Dale, Brian Setzer, The Stray Cats, Dita Von Teese, and John Waters.
Testimonial from 2018--
"Alisha has been working for us for 9 years now and when she began working with us, she immediately impressed me by taking our visibility in the Media to a higher level. She has proven consistently over that time to be a valuable asset to our event as she has made sure she understands what the event is about so that her work is an accurate reflection of the event. She works independently with diligence, gets results, and pays thorough attention to detail. She continues to take on new challenges and work toward achieving more with each year, without ever being asked. I can't imagine anyone else being able to achieve these results so independently."-- Tom Ingram, Event Promoter, Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend
